Choose an edition and theme

Choose the QR capability you need. Then choose the interface you prefer.

Choose Edition 1.0 when you only want to scan addresses. For expanded payment and signing QR, choose Edition 1.2 for the original compact interface or Edition 1.3 for the current recommended design family.

Simple address scanning

QR Edition 1.0

Uses QR codes for approved individual BSV address fields. Structured lists, private keys, signing packages, and signed transactions stay outside its QR reader.

Choose this edition when

  • You want to scan an address instead of typing it
  • You are making straightforward address-based payments
  • You prefer a smaller set of QR actions and review decisions
  • Your policy allows public addresses, but not keys or transaction packages, in QR codes

Expanded payment and signing QR

Expanded QR

QR Editions 1.2 and 1.3 provide validated QR handling for more detailed payment and signing information, including multipart transfers when one QR image is not enough.

Choose expanded QR when

  • You need address, payment, or spendable-coin lists by QR
  • You use payment requests containing a destination and suggested details
  • You need private-key QR entry on a trusted device
  • You use offline signing packages or return signed transactions by QR

Expanded QR

Choose the interface that suits you.

QR Editions 1.2 and 1.3 provide the same expanded payment and signing QR capabilities. Edition 1.2 retains the original denser layout; Edition 1.3 offers a more spacious, responsive design in three themes.

Original compact interface

QR Edition 1.2

The established expanded-QR application in its original compact presentation. It remains active, usable, and independently verifiable through its existing file hash and TXID.

  • Original denser arrangement
  • The complete expanded payment and signing QR workflow
  • Useful for existing users, saved links, and compact-screen preferences
  • Its own exact-edition manual and verification record

Current recommended design family

QR Edition 1.3

The same expanded QR capabilities in a more modern interface with larger controls, clearer headings, and layouts designed for phones, tablets, and desktops.

  • Larger touch targets and more spacious form controls
  • Responsive presentation across small and large screens
  • Light, Obsidian Vault, and Aurora Glass themes
  • One shared 1.3 manual for all three themes

QR Edition 1.3

Three appearances. One functional release.

Every theme uses the same payment, signing, QR, fee, warning, and review logic. Appearance is the only difference.

Recommended default

Light

Warm cream and white surfaces with strong daylight legibility and a familiar financial-tool character.

Dark and restrained

Obsidian Vault

A graphite-black workspace with gold and teal accents for users who prefer a quieter dark interface.

Vivid and atmospheric

Aurora Glass

A luminous glass-like theme with aurora colour, deep contrast, and the same deliberate workflow underneath.

QR Editions 1.0, 1.2, and 1.3 are active Public Preview releases.

Edition 1.0 has a narrower QR surface and is easier to understand when advanced QR operations are unnecessary. Editions 1.2 and 1.3 share the expanded QR workflow; their main difference is presentation. Edition 1.3 is a presentation and usability successor, not a security hotfix for a known Edition 1.2 defect. No edition or theme removes the ordinary risks of private-key handling, signing, or sending an irreversible transaction to the network.
