Blocking - Blogging on the Blockchain and Earth Log
A generation ago, the internet gave ordinary people the ability to publish. A generation later, BSV gives them the ability to publish permanently, and to be paid for it directly, on the same rails, anywhere in the world.
In this first video on the Earth Log channel, I introduce a practice I've started calling blocking — publishing on the blockchain, the way an earlier generation came to call publishing on the internet blogging. I explain what BSV is in plain language, why blocks solve two problems blogs never did (permanence and direct payment), and how Earth Log — a chronological record of human civilization, written during my lifetime and inscribed on chain — is one working demonstration of what blocking can be used for.
If you write, photograph, document, compose, or research, the same approach is available to you.
