Marquez.web3 is a personal music archive created by Marquez Comelab. It is also a working demonstration of how BSV, Ordinals, and Web3 websites can help creative people preserve, share, and license their work.

The site brings together music from different periods of my life: songs written when I was younger, and instrumental pieces shaped by later questions about science, religion, belief, doubt, and human existence.

It is a place to listen, read, remember, support, and, when appropriate, license the music for use in a project.

The Music

The First Chapter collects songs that began taking shape in the late 1990s, during high school and university. They carry the thoughts and emotions of a younger self trying to understand love, sadness, faith, uncertainty, and direction.

Reasonism is a collection of seven instrumental pieces recorded between 2012 and 2014. The album grew out of earlier reading and reflection on science, religion, God, non-belief, origins, and the long human search for meaning.

Why This Exists

When I was younger, recording and publishing original music required resources and pathways that were harder to reach. Some songs were written, recorded, saved, and carried forward privately while life moved on.

Marquez.web3 gives those works a new purpose. They can be heard by people today, preserved for the future, and more importantly, they demonstrate how the blockchain can be used by creators to receive tips, sell and licence their works directly to the wide world in a way never before possible.

The archive leaves behind proof that these songs existed, that they came from a particular period of a person's life, and that someone tried to capture thoughts and feelings through music.

Marquez.web3 is the website, archive, and source-of-truth location for this project. It is not a separate legal owner of the music or copyright.

Why BSV And Web3

Marquez.web3 is a BSV Ordinal Web3 website where the pages, music, images, and terms become durable, timestamped records on the BSV blockchain.

The BSV Blockchain page explains how inscriptions, Web3 publication dates, and BSV payment records fit into this project.

For Other Creators

Part of the purpose of Marquez.web3 is to show other creative people that earlier songs, recordings, writings, and ideas can still be carried forward, including work that stayed outside the usual release channels.

A creative work can be preserved, made available, and connected to a simple payment or licensing path enabled by the Bitcoin SV (BSV) Blockchain. It can matter because it is sincere, personal, and connected to a lived moment.
