BSV Search does not specify a minimum tip. Supporters may send a small number of satoshis or a larger amount of BSV. The amount should be chosen freely by the person supporting the content.
BSV-TIPPED CONTENT
Does my content need to have received a tip already?
No. You may add your content once it is published online and has its own unique BSV receiving address. Its tipping figures will update as supporters send BSV tips to that address.
How can I obtain a BSV receiving address?
Create a public receiving address using a wallet that supports Bitcoin SV. Make sure you control the wallet and can access funds sent to it. Only provide the public receiving address. Never provide BSV Search or anyone else with your wallet password, private key, recovery phrase or seed phrase.
You can use Bitaddress.Org or Sovereign Keys to generate lots of Public Addresses - and their Private Keys.
Why must each work have its own BSV address?
A unique address allows BSV Search to associate the tips received at that address with one specific work and display its tipping activity accurately. Do not reuse the same address for several works, because it may become impossible to determine which work a tip was intended to support.
Does my content have to be hosted on BSV Search?
No. To the contrary, BSV-Tipped Content is designed more for content not published on BSVSearch.com. These could be content from your website, or your Social Media Networks accounts like YouTube, X, and so on.
What do I need before adding my content?
Your content should already be published and accessible online. Assign it a unique BSV receiving address that you control, and make sure you created the content or have the legal right to publish and monetise it. You can then submit it for inclusion on the BSV-Tipped Content leaderboard.
What is BSV-tipped content?
BSV-tipped content is a creative or informative work that people can support by sending Bitcoin SV (BSV) tips to a public BSV address assigned to that work. Examples include videos, music, articles, illustrations, photographs, performances and other original creations.
